Al Safi Farm is the largest integrated dairy farm in the world. (Guinness Book of World Records 1998). The farm is located in the Al Sahba Valley some 100 kilometers south-east of Riyadh, not far from Al Kharj. The farm, an environmentally friendly operation, is fully integrated from the growing of forage to the final distribution of milk and dairy products. The farm operates around the clock throughout the year to ensure fresh deliveries daily. Every aspect of the farm is computer inter-linked utilizing software developed in-house to meet the specific requirements of Al Safi-Danone. Utmost care is taken to ensure that farm herds are free from all kinds of disease including foot & mouth. A comprehensive program of preventive measures is in operation throughout the year.
